Wong Kah Meng is the Group Chief Operating Officer of Funding Societies | Modalku, where he oversees the Group’s business across Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand. He was also instrumental in the founding and setting up of Funding Societies’ business in Malaysia, being the first and leading unified SME digital finance platform in the country since its inception in 2017.

In Malaysia, Kah Meng established various centres of excellence for key innovations such as digital micro financing, digital supply chain financing and Islamic financing for the Group.

Kah Meng's commitment extends beyond Funding Societies. He actively participates in industry conferences, including APEC and ASEAN conferences, sharing insights on the future of finance and emerging technologies. He has also been widely featured in media, including The Edge, The Star, New Straits Times, BERNAMA, and other major media channels.

Prior to Funding Societies, Kah Meng was a management consultant with global consulting firm Oliver Wyman, specialising in strategy development and risk management within the Financial Services industry, with experience across Southeast Asia and the Middle East.

Kah Meng is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and recognised as a high-impact entrepreneur, exemplified by his selection as an Endeavor Entrepreneur. His ongoing commitment to driving innovation and excellence continues to shape the financial technology landscape in Southeast Asia.
