Sulaiman Al Ali is the Chief Commercial Officer at Space42, where he shapes the company's commercial vision, drives sustainable growth, and forges strategic alliances in the satellite communications and geospatial analytics sectors. He also serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Thuraya, the UAE’s first homegrown satellite operator and the mobile satellite services subsidiary of Space42, where he is leading its transformation into a next-generation satellite connectivity provider.

Prior to his current roles, Sulaiman held several key positions at Yahsat, including Deputy CEO and later CEO of Thuraya, as well as Director of Yahsat Government Solutions - Commercial. He also has extensive experience with Etisalat (now known as e&), where he contributed significantly to the company's success and was recognised with the "Success Story in Etisalat" award in April 2011.

Sulaiman's leadership has been instrumental in driving operational excellence and delivering innovative solutions to customers in a post-pandemic environment. He has been actively involved in fostering collaborations with academic institutions, such as the American University of Sharjah, to explore advancements in SpaceTech and innovation.

With over two decades of experience in the telecom and satellite industries across the Middle East, Africa, and South Asia, Sulaiman brings deep expertise in commercial strategy, product innovation, and market expansion. He holds an Executive MBA from INSEAD, a Master's degree in Entrepreneurial Leadership from Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University, and a Bachelor's degree in Communication Engineering from Khalifa University.
